I love old country cemeteries. I went with a friend to the grave of her father to plant a peony bush and a handmade wooden cross.
A difficult roadtrip for her, but we drove home with the windows down and drank fountain drinks and sang Eagles songs at the top of our lungs and admired the countryside and got flipped off by harried drivers. We came home both so glad we went.
